“Gurís” are “street kids” in Brazilian slang. These adorable characters were created by Rose Almeida, an artisan from a tiny, rural village in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil.

Handmade and hand painted, these funky and fun characters are made from “cold porcelain”.  Legs are made from decorated wire.

The “Gurís” make Rose truly happy. She hopes they will do the same for you.
